How to Bring Your Vision Into Form (So It’s Better Than You Imagined)

This week I stood at our property and watched the timber frames for our covered deck go up. There was a crane truck and five guys on ladders, and I was blown away. I felt this surge of joy and happiness and awe, mixed in with gratitude, right through my whole body, and all I could think was... this is happening.

That moment holds the answer to how to bring your vision into form, and it isn't the answer most successful entrepreneurs expect.

The vision came first; the steps came after

About five years ago, the vision for our dream home retreat space got reignited in one night, when I received a download that it was actually coming into reality. My belief started increasing at that time.

When I got that vision, I didn't try to figure out the how. I started sitting with it, feeling it, and bringing it into my daily practices.

Sometimes we receive information, downloads, intuitive hits of something we're meant to do, and we immediately go into how to figure it out. I'm going to challenge you and invite you... don't go there yet. Keep imagining the end result of your vision, and feel into being in it.

For the last two years I've been taking it step by step, diligently. The architectural drawings, the interior design, the landscape design, where to get the timber, who would install it and why, and even the stain colour. Every one of those steps was necessary, and all of it was two-dimensional, on paper and drawn out, until this week.

Why your vision can fall flat when it arrives

Here's why this matters. When the vision actually comes into form, you can go right by it and not even celebrate it. It might even fall flat of what you originally envisioned, because you get too tangled up in the process of doing.

We receive a download, we're going to create it, and then it becomes a to-do list item. The visualization around it turns into busy energy, or it might even feel like obligation energy.

You're successful. You have work ethic, and you already know how to take the steps. The steps are rarely what's missing.

What it means to feed a vision

What I didn't realize until I was standing on that property is how much my daily practice had been feeding it.

By feeding it, I mean seeing myself sitting on the patio furniture on that covered deck and pretending I'm really there. Looking out into the landscape, the trees, the birds, everything. The fireplace roaring, covered in a blanket, reading a book. That amplified the finished result, and we don't take enough time to do this when we're creating things.

When you take your vision and keep holding it in your heart, hold it in your headspace, bring it into your body, and keep visualizing the finished result, it can be better than you can imagine. We have to keep feeding it that way, and keep doubt, worry, and anxiety out of the way, so it can come into form in a higher frequency, in an elevated experience of joy, happiness, and pleasure.

How to bring your vision into form

So how do you do this? Start dreaming bigger than you already are, and start taking time to intentionally practice visualization.

Visualization is not outside of you. It's inside of you.

Take the idea, vision, or project you're working on right now, and start visualizing it as the finished result. Start noticing it being complete.

When you're present, it's impossible to doubt and worry, because you're staying aligned with your vision and intentions. When you create out of alignment, your creations come through with integrity, created through love, clarity, and confidence. When you create out of fear or worry, they come into the world in that energy as well.

The practice I use every day

This is exactly why I developed Life Force Activation™. I've been leading it live on Zoom for over three years, and it stimulates your visualization skills and activates your imagination. It clears the dust, debris, and clutter of old society programming that has been taking your imagination away, and it makes space for your vision to expand and for ideas and solutions to come in that you might never have thought about.

It's a structured practice with a creative flow that channels through it. You can lie down, or you can sit while you do it, and you'll notice how it sets up your day for elevated success compared to a day when you don't practice.

You can try it for two weeks for $1, and after that it's $50 a month. Bring the vision you're holding right now, and see how fast it can grow.

Questions about bringing a vision into form

How do I bring my vision into form?

Hold the vision before you work out the how. Keep visualizing the finished result, feel it in your body, and keep taking the steps. The steps build it, and feeding the vision allows you to receive it with awe and gratitude.

What does it mean to feed a vision?

It means spending time visualizing yourself inside the finished result, seeing it, feeling it, and sending it love, so it stays exciting instead of becoming another item on your to-do list.

Why does my vision feel flat when it finally happens?

When you get tangled up in the doing, you can walk right past the result and not even celebrate it. Feeding the vision while you build it is what lets you feel the awe when it arrives.
