What’s Still Sitting on the Shelf?

It’s taken me over three years to get my book Finding the Source to the first stage of completion.

At first, I worked on it steadily for about six months.
Then... something “more important” came along. Something louder. Something that felt more urgent.

So I put it on the shelf.

Meanwhile, that book sat in my filing cabinet, waiting.

Instead of focusing on one thing to completion, I let myself be pulled by every idea, every opportunity, every “this might be the thing.”
I thought I needed more. More offers. More energy. More doing.

But I didn’t need more.
I needed focus.

Focus to completion. Focus to finish.

Today, I’m finally celebrating:

  • The manuscript is heading to the copy editor.

  • Cover design + launch plan are officially in motion.

But I’m also reflecting:

  • What did I lose by putting it off?

  • What would’ve been different if I stayed focused?

If you’ve got a project that’s still sitting on the shelf, maybe one that really matters, I know what it feels like.

And you don’t need to overhaul your whole system to get back to that project.

Start by playing the Focus Frequency Quest - A simple, 5-day game inside my Receptive Radio Facebook group.
